ABBYY appoints Arnaud Lagarde as its new VP Sales EMEA

With the appointment of Arnaud Lagarde as its new Vice President (VP) of Sales for EMEA, the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor aims to strengthen regional growth, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate the adoption of intelligent process automation solutions across key markets.

ABBYY, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, announced on May 13, 2025, the appointment of Arnaud Lagarde as its new VP of Sales EMEA. In this position, Lagarde will lead revenue growth and strategy across the EMEA region, develop key partnerships, guide customers through their digital transformation, and more.

Arnaud Lagarde joins ABBYY from OctaiPipe, an AI-powered optimization software solution, where he most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer. Lagarde brings extensive sales and technical expertise in the field of AI-powered optimization, with previous roles including Vice President Europe at Automation Anywhere.

A month ago, ABBYY announced the launch of ABBYY Document AI API, a new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Application Programming Interface (API) that enables developers to enhance workflows with pre-trained models to extract data from documents and accelerate the automation of complex business processes.
