Adlib Software appoints Chris Huff as its new CEO

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Adlib Software has announced that it has appointed Chris Huff as its new Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect. Chris Huff has more than 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise IT, AI and digital transformation. His previous roles include Chief Strategy & Growth Officer at Tungsten Automation and most recently CEO at IDP vendor Base64. With Chris Huff as the new CEO, Adlib aims to expand its capabilities to deliver more flexible, AI-driven solutions to enterprise customers. Chris Huff commented on his new role: “I’m excited to join Adlib at such a pivotal moment. Adlib has built a powerful new platform with Transform and is a long-trusted brand in a space that is only becoming more essential. I look forward to working with the exceptional team at Adlib to scale our impact, drive AI innovation, and continue delivering mission-critical outcomes and value for our customers.”

Indico Data launches its Agentic Decisioning Platform for the insurance industry

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Indico Data has announced the launch of its Agentic Decisioning Platform specifically for the insurance industry. The platform includes Agent Studio (the heart of the platform), Agent Builder, and Agent Workflow Canvas, and is designed to empower insurance carriers to automate complex workflows. Agent Studio delivers out-of-the-box AI agents (e.g. Extraction & Classification Agents, Summarization Agent, Validation Agent, etc.) that can be tailored for specific insurance cases. Tom Wilde, CEO of Indico Data, commented: “This is the moment the industry shifts from automation to autonomy. Agentic Decisioning isn’t just about efficiency – it’s about enabling the insurance enterprise to operate with real-time intelligence, at scale, across every submission. DOConvert launches Version 2.2.0 for Omer

Intelligent Document Processing vendor DOConvert has announced the latest release of its platform, Version 2.2.0 for Omer. New features include Poly (the AI assistant that automatically creates templates by learning from documents), workspaces (assigning each department its own space), native integration with Priority Software (to automatically route from document to ERP), smarter import workflows, advanced validation and analytics, a cleaner user interface and more.

Cogent Labs wins BOXIL SaaS Award Summer 2025 in AI OCR category

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Cogent Labs has announced that SmartRead, its IDP platform, has won the BOXIL SaaS Award Summer 2025 in the AI OCR category. BOXIL is one of the largest SaaS comparison and word-of-mouth sites in Japan. In addition, Cogent Labs’ SmartRead was recognized in several other categories at the BOXIL SaaS Award Summer 2025, including “Good Service”, “Functional Satisfaction No. 1”, “Service Stability No. 1”, “Usefulness No. 1“, “Ease of Use No. 1” and “Customization No. 1”.
