DocAcquire introduces auto-splitting and classification feature

Intelligent Document Processing vendor DocAcquire has announced the launch of its new feature for automatically splitting and classifying documents. DocAcquire scans large or multi-page files, automatically recognizes document boundaries, and separates them into individual files. In combination with automated document classification, the DocAcquire platform can then immediately identify each document type and forward it accordingly within the workflow.

Rossum introduces new document translation feature

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Rossum has announced the general availability of Document Translation. This feature allows annotators to instantly translate documents during the validation process, making it possible for a single team member to handle exceptions in any language or train Rossum’s advanced AI to achieve a high degree of automation more quickly.

ancora Software announces launch of ancoraFusion

Intelligent Document Processing vendor ancora Software has announced the launch of ancoraFusion, its next-gen IDP platform. ancoraFusion combines the company’s small language models with powerful machine learning algorithms to enable highly accurate document capture, classification, and data extraction with minimal human oversight. Noel Flynn, CEO of ancora Software, explained: “ancoraFusion is more than just a new platform—it’s the future of Intelligent Document Processing. By combining advanced AI with our field-proven machine learning technologies, we’re enabling a new level of automation that reduces manual effort while improving speed and accuracy. ancoraFusion positions us—and our customers—at the forefront of intelligent automation.”

Infosource publishes its 2025 Global Capture & IDP Software Vendor Matrix Report

Analyst firm Infosource has announced that it has published its 2025 Global Capture & IDP Software Vendor Matrix Report, which contains evaluations of 25 vendors. Ralph Gammon, Senior Analyst at Infosource, commented: “One of the biggest overall trends since last year’s report is the infusion of LLM to handle a wider variety of tasks We’ve also seen an increasing amount of SaaS deployment and focus on security. Our global matrix puts a premium on enabling end-to-end automation and the emergence of Agentic AI is going to have a big influence on that going forward.”

Cortical.io joins forces with the Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG)

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Cortical.io has announced that it is now officially listed as a partner of the Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG). Thanks to this partnership, the stage is set for government agencies and public institutions to easily and compliantly procure Cortical.io’s IDP solution SemanticPro.

Kodak Alaris wins 2025 MEA Business Awards

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Kodak Alaris has announced that it has been honored with the “Technology – Exceptional Digital Transformation Initiative” Award at the 2025 MEA Business Awards. This award underscores Kodak Alaris’ commitment to innovation and excellence in driving digital transformation.

KAPTO partners with Helvetia Italia (via direct source)

Intelligent Document Processing vendor KAPTO has announced a partnership with insurance company Helvetia Italia. Thanks to this partnership, Helvetia Italia has adopted KAPTO’s Insurance Agentic Solution to automate the reconciliation of broker account statements and thus optimize processes. A Helvetia representative commented: “KAPTO has brought a step change in how we manage broker settlements. What used to take days and exposed us to avoidable risks is now handled swiftly and with full traceability.”

Hyarchis appoints new COO

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Hyarchis has announced the appointment of Krijn Logister as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He brings extensive experience in operations, IT and process optimization to Hyarchis. Krijn Logister commented on his new role: “Hyarchis is in an exciting phase of growth and innovation. I look forward to working with the team in the Netherlands and Lithuania to build an agile and efficient organization that supports customers with AI solutions in a secure and scalable way.”
