Metamaze and TheValueChain partner for a future of hyperautomation IDP vendor Metamaze announced that it has partnered with IT and SAP consultancy firm TheValueChain. TheValueChain’s offering was lacking in Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, and that’s where Metamaze came in. Jonas Bert, Hyperautomation Expert at TheValueChain, said: “After some benchmarking, we decided to start collaborating with Metamaze for several reasons. First, we were convinced by the true machine learning capabilities of the platform. Second, Metamaze’s strong product roadmap proves that their system is future-proof. Third, we noticed that even after training the system with only the bare minimum, we still achieved the best results. And fourth, Metamaze was more than willing to work with us, since we both believe we complement one another.” Metamaze and TheValueChain aim to provide companies with future-proof automation and have already embarked on several projects together, including the development of a model for order confirmations and invoices, with the “ultimate goal of building models that address the needs of specific customers, with as little training data as possible.”

Roboyo named a Star Performer in Everest Group’s IPA assessment Intelligent process automation solutions provider Roboyo announced that research firm Everest Group has recognized the company as a Star Performer (vendor with the highest year-over-year improvement) in the Major Contender category of its Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023. For Roboyo, this is only its second year as a Major Contender, making the Star Performer recognition proof of the company’s innovative approach to automation, or as Nicolas Hess, co-founder and CEO of Roboyo, puts it: “We are thrilled to be elevated to Star Performer status in the Major Contender category of the Everest PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team over the past year, and our commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. We will continue to invest in our people, our technology, and our partnerships to ensure that we remain a trusted partner for intelligent process automation solutions.”

TAIGER unveils latest IDP version for enhanced document automation IDP vendor TAIGER announced the latest version of Omnitive IDP, its generative AI platform. Omnitive IDP now features no-code capabilities which can understand any document in up to 94 languages, enabling clients to build, test and deploy their own models in minutes. Sinuhé Arroyo, founder and CEO of TAIGER, said: “We are in a mission to free the corporate human intellect through Generative AI. Our latest revolution allows customers to unlock its power and convert unstructured information into structured data, while observing mission critical privacy and security regulations.”

Alkymi launches GPT-powered Summarization Pattern IDP vendor Alkymi announced the launch of its new GPT-powered feature called Summarization Pattern. This allows Alkymi’s customers to summarize any document into a list of key bullet points directly on the Data Acceleration Platform in over 95 languages.

Insiders Technologies appoints new Head of Channel Management IDP provider Insiders Technologies announced that it has appointed Dr. Alexander Swienty as new Head of Channel Management. He will succeed Dr. Rainer Czech, who is retiring at the end of the year. Dr. Alexander Swienty commented on his new role: „My goal is to further exploit growth potentials together with our existing partners and to make our ‚AI Made in Germany‘ a global success by increasing the international reach of the channel. I am sure that together we will achieve great things.“

UiPath appoints new member to its Board of Directors Enterprise automation software company UiPath announced that it has appointed Karenann Terrell to its Board of Directors. Karenann Terrell brings decades of experience in corporate leadership and digital and cybersecurity technologies. Daniel Dines, Chairman of the Board and UiPath co-founder and co-CEO, said: “We believe she will bring fresh perspectives to our business while we help our customers accelerate innovation as UiPath continues to be a trusted enterprise automation advisor to customers around the globe.”

ProcessMaker appoints new CEO IDP provider ProcessMaker announced that it has appointed Jeff Lortz as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jeff Lortz, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, replaces co-founder and CEO Brian Reale. Jeff Lortz commented on his new role: “It’s an exciting time to join ProcessMaker. We are set to release a new version of our platform with the latest AI and ML capabilities that will put us at the forefront of intelligent automation advancements, giving our customers access to the most innovative process orchestration platform available.” Brian Reale will continue with ProcessMaker as a board member and investor.
