IDP vendor Klippa joins forces with Open Connections

As part of this strategic partnership, the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor will integrate various modules of its IDP platform DocHorizon into Open Connections’ solutions, including tools for reading and validating financial documents (invoices, receipts), identity documents (passports, driver’s licenses), and a wide range of business forms.

Klippa, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, announced on June 10, 2025, a strategic partnership with software solutions provider Open Connections. Through this partnership, the two companies will combine Klippa’s IDP platform DocHorizon with Open Connections’ extensive expertise in enterprise document workflows to make Intelligent Document Processing more accessible to customers.

Jeroen Kant, Chief Commercial Officer of Klippa, commented: “Partnering with Open Connections enables us to extend our technology to a broader range of organizations ready to embrace the next phase of digitization. They bring a deep understanding of the complexities and legacy systems many companies face. By combining their expertise with our AI-powered DocHorizon platform, we can deliver scalable, practical solutions that drive meaningful impact – reducing costs, saving time, and enhancing accuracy.”

In March, Klippa announced that it had been acquired by German intelligent content solutions provider SER Group. With this acquisition, SER Group has integrated Klippa’s advanced IDP capabilities into its intelligent content automation platform Doxis to better support customers in their digital transformation.

Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Klippa is an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor specializing in document scanning and data extraction, using AI-powered OCR and machine learning, with a mission to simplify document workflows.
