Automation Anywhere appoints Intel VP and CMO to fuel growth

Tim McDonough, who most recently served as Vice President (VP) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the Datacenter and AI (DCAI) business at tech giant Intel, joins the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) provider as Chief Marketing Officer to shape and lead the company’s global brand, growth strategies and go-to-market functions.

Automation Anywhere, an AI-powered process automation solutions provider, announced April 18 the appointment of Tim McDonough as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Tim McDonough brings more than 20 years of experience in taking cutting-edge hardware, software and services to market and, having held executive roles at leading tech companies such as Unity Technologies, Qualcomm and Microsoft prior to his most recent role at Intel.

A month ago, the IDP provider announced that it achieved record fourth quarter results driven by its generative AI-powered automation solutions, large enterprise customer deals and robust sales worldwide. According to Automation Anywhere, the fourth quarter results exceeded the company’s forecasts and targets, with 50% growth compared to the third quarter and a 14% year-on-year increase in large deals.
