With the reappointment of its Co-Founder as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor aims to tap into the rapidly growing market of intelligent operations.
Cortical.io, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, announced on July 24, 2025, that it has reappointed its Co-Founder Francisco Webber as CEO, effective July 1, 2025.
In January 2023, Francisco Webber handed over his position as CEO at Cortical.io to Dr. Rainer Kegel, who launched new sales initiatives in Europe and particularly in the DACH region, while Francisco Webber guided the IDP vendor through strategic initiatives.
In addition to announcing the return of Francisco Webber as CEO, Cortical.io also announced the upcoming launch of its Sensor Fusion (SF2) platform, which goes beyond natural language processing. According to Cortical.io, the first version of the SF2 platform is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2025, with broader availability expected in early 2026.
