Hyland appoints new CPO, CIS and CTO in a matter of weeks

With Michael Campbell as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO), John Newton as its new Chief Innovation Strategist (CIS) and Tim McIntire as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Hyland appoints three seasoned executives in a matter of weeks.

Hyland, a provider of intelligent content solutions including Hyland IDP, its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software, announced on May 19, 2025, that it has appointed Michael Campbell as its new Chief Product Officer. This is the third leadership appointment in just a few weeks, following the appointment of John Newton as Chief Innovation Strategist and the appointment of Tim McIntire as Chief Technology Officer.

Michael Campbell, who joins Hyland as Chief Product Officer, has more than two decades of experience in enterprise software. Most recently, he served as CPO at Bentley Systems. At Hyland, he will oversee the company’s entire product portfolio and implement the company’s strategic content management vision with AI, cloud and open-source innovations. Jitesh S. John Newton (Co-founder of Documentum and Alfresco), who joins Hyland as Chief Innovation Strategist, has more than three decades of content management experience. In his new role as Chief Innovation Strategist, he will work with the Hyland leadership team to advance the company’s AI, cloud and open-source innovations. Jitesh S. Last but not least, Tim McIntire, who joins Hyland as Chief Technology Officer, has more than two decades of experience in developing and scaling transformative platforms. Most recently, he served as SVP Engineering at Teradata. In his new role as CTO, Tim McIntire will guide the evolution of Hyland’s product vision and spearhead global engineering initiatives to deliver innovative solutions. Jitesh S. Last month, Hyland announced new AI enhancements to the Content Innovation Cloud to support its strategy to use AI in content services.
