Hyperscience wins 2025 AI Excellence Award – and also announces that it finishes fiscal year 2024 strong
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Hyperscience has announced that Hypercell for GenAI, its solution that transforms complex documents into Large Language Model (LLM) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)-ready data, has won Business Intelligence Group’s ‘2025 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award’ in the Innovative AI Products category. According to the Business Intelligence Group, the award is judged by executives from leading technology organizations worldwide, using a proprietary scoring system to measure achievements across various business domains. Business Intelligence Group commented: “This year’s honorees represent the pinnacle of AI advancement, excelling in predictive analytics, generative AI, explainable AI, and beyond. These winners exemplify AI’s transformative power across industries, from finance and healthcare to cybersecurity and autonomous systems.” In addition, Hyperscience’s CEO Andrew Joiner announced that the company finished fiscal year 2024 (closed on February 28, 2025) strong. Highlights include 37% revenue growth and 90%+ gross margins, significant new Fortune 500 logo wins and expansions, and several industry awards and accolades such as an Innovation Award for the second consecutive year from Deep Analysis. Andrew Joiner concluded: “As we enter a new fiscal year, we are incredibly excited about what lies ahead. Our focus remains clear: deliver transformative value for our customers, grow responsibly, and lead the next generation of enterprise AI.” Randy Cairns, SVP Marketing at Hyperscience, commented: “Hyperscience holds a winning hand and we intend to play our aces in 2025. We’re coming out of the gates hot — with signature customer wins across the globe in March, plans to go big at Google Cloud Next next week in Las Vegas, and creative plans to engage the Commercial, Public Sector, and International markets in the year ahead.”
Indico Data unveils three key leadership positions to further strengthen its commitment to transforming the insurance industry
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Indico Data has unveiled three strategic leadership appointments to reinforce its commitment to revolutionizing the insurance industry through AI. First, Phil Edmundson, an entrepreneur and investor with more than 40 years of experience in the insurance and InsurTech industry, joins Indico Data as a new board member. According to the IDP provider, Phil Edmundson’s extensive background puts him in a unique position to bring valuable insight to the Indico Data board of directors. Secondly, Madison May, Indico Data’s Co-Founder, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his new role, he will continue to expand Indico Data’s suite of intelligent tools. Last but not least, Don Zereski, Indico Data’s SVP of Engineering, has been promoted to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his new role, he will ensure that the company’s cutting-edge solutions remain secure and resilient. A few highlights from the AI+IM Global Summit in Atlanta
This week, AIIM (The Association for Intelligent Information Management) held its inaugural AI+IM Global Summit in Atlanta. Over three days, industry experts presented real-world use cases in workshops, keynotes and interactive sessions. Or, as Petra Beck, Senior Analyst at Infosource, emphasized: “The event successfully provided actionable recommendations on AI-based automation and decision-making in Content Management, IDP, Process Automation, and Business Decision Making – highlighting how these areas interconnect to create even greater value. This was particularly impressive given the diverse audience, including Records Managers, IT, and Business Managers with varying levels of expertise in particular related to advanced AI technologies and their business applications.” Tori Miller Liu, President and CEO of AIIM, wrote: “I am walking away with so many ideas about AI governance, Agentic AI, and the value of information in the AI era. I am so grateful to the speakers, volunteer facilitators, sponsors, and engaged participants who made this event possible.” As part of the annual AIIM Awards, AIIM recognized four distinguished professionals for exceptional contributions to information management: Miguel Zubizarreta, Barry Primes and Ron Cameron were inducted into AIIM’s Company of Fellows, and Dan Lucarini was honored with the Award of Merit for his exceptional leadership and contributions to the industry. Hyland announces updates to its Content Innovation Cloud, focusing on AI enhancements across its product portfolio
Intelligent content solutions provider Hyland has announced that it has expanded its Content Innovation Cloud with new AI enhancements. These updates support Hyland’s strategy to leverage AI in content services to give organizations better access to insights from their enterprise content and automate key processes. The updates involve the products Hyland Automate, Hyland Knowledge Discovery, OnBase and Alfresco: Hyland Knowledge Discovery leverages natural language queries, AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to streamline complex searches. Users can also refine search results using metadata fields and dynamic filters. Hyland Automate introduces an AI-powered chat interface that converts natural language prompts into automation workflows. There is also a new connector for OpenAI and integration with Microsoft email to simplify email-based task automation. OnBase and Alfresco updates: OnBase Foundation 25.1 offers AI-driven insights, scalable app-building features and enhanced workflows. Alfresco 25.1 improves content management from legal holds. Leonard Kim, Chief Product Officer of Hyland, commented: “We continue to deliver on the unified Content Innovation Cloud roadmap and meet evolving customer needs by extending the value of their Hyland solutions. Parashift launches Automation Agents, its latest feature to streamline document processing workflows
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Parashift has announced the launch of Automation Agents, its latest feature to automate repetitive tasks and streamline document processing workflows. With this, the IDP vendor enables users to eliminate bottlenecks, increase operational efficiency and support agile business processes. Thilo Rossa, Chief Product Officer at Parashift, explained: “By integrating Automation Agents, one of our customers has elevated their invoice processing workflow to deliver even greater efficiency and accuracy. As invoices enter the system, Automation Agents instantly recognize and classify them by evaluating key details such as vendor names, document formats, and language. This ensures that only genuine invoices move forward for processing. Based on pre-defined business rules, invoices are then automatically routed to the appropriate team members. High-value invoices are flagged for senior review, while standard invoices are seamlessly directed to the payment queue.”
ancora Software joins forces with The Access Group to help construction companies automate accounts payable
Intelligent Document Processing vendor anchor Software has announced a strategic partnership with business management software solutions provider The Access Group. Thanks to this strategic partnership, ancora Software will integrate its IDP technology into The Access Group’s Access Coins ERP software to help construction companies automate accounts payable and transform document processing efficiency.
