AntWorks transforms airline claims processing thanks to the integration of its IDP platform with Pega

Intelligent Document Processing vendor AntWorks has announced that it has integrated CMR+, its IDP platform, with software company Pega to address the complex workflow and claims processing needs of the airline industry. By leveraging AntWorks CMR+ to process diverse document formats such as ID documents, travel documents, invoices, legal authorizations and more, integrated with Pega for workflow automation, airlines can automate the entire claims lifecycle. Mike Hobday, CEO at AntWorks, commented: “The flexibility of our AI platform allows AntWorks and our partners to rollout repeatable IDP solutions addressing industry challenges. In these challenging economic times operational efficiency through AI is on everyone’s agenda.”

AIDA selected by PwC for the Scale programme

Intelligent Document Processing vendor AIDA has announced that it has been selected for the PwC Scale programme along with 14 other high-growth technology companies. As part of the Scale programme, AIDA will receive support from PwC in a number of areas including go-to-market strategy, pricing, branding and data-driven marketing, people strategy, culture and leadership, as well as networking sessions with the wider PwC network. Alex Earl, Chief Commercial Officer at AIDA, commented: “Very happy that AIDA was one of the lucky few to have been selected to be part of the prestigious PwC Scale programme. We’re already reaping the benefits as we continue to scale internationally.”

Planet AI introduces the latest release (5.3) of its AI-powered document processing platform, Intelligent Document Analysis (IDA)

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Planet AI has announced the launch of IDA 5.3, its AI-powered document processing platform that transforms the way organizations manage, analyze and use documents. With the release of IDA 5.3, Planet AI introduces IDA Understanding, a new module that uses Large Language Models (LLM) to extract actionable insights from unstructured documents, even when content must be derived from context. In addition, this release also introduces a new Invoice module for layout-agnostic data extraction, as well as a redesigned IDA client for simplified batch processing.

Everest Group releases its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2025 and Banking and Financial Services specific IDP Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2025

Research firm Everest Group has released its latest Intelligent Document Processing Matrix® Matrix Assessments for 2025: as always, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Products report, and, as the firm did for the first time last year, a Banking and Financial Services (BFS) specific IDP Products assessment. To evaluate each IDP vendor, Everest Group uses its own framework, which is divided into two parts: Market Impact (measures impact on the market) and Vision & Capability (measures ability to successfully deliver products). In each of these assessments, Everest Group evaluated 29 and 10 Intelligent Document Processing vendors respectively and ranked them accordingly in their MATRIX as ‘Leaders’, ‘Major Contenders’, ‘Aspirants’ and ‘Star Performers’.

DOConvert introduces Poly for document-driven workflows

Intelligent Document Processing vendor DOConvert has introduced Poly (though currently live with select clients only), its new pre-trained model that goes beyond data extraction and uses bi-directional ERP integration to check vendor IDs, match open purchase orders and automatically generate invoice drafts, helping supply chain teams with document-driven workflows. According to the IDP vendor, the full release of Poly will be released soon as part of the next platform update.

Cognaize wins 2025 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Cognaize has announced that it has won Business Intelligence Group’s ‘2025 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award’ in the category ‘Innovative AI Products’ – Cognaize’s platform “showcases a unique blend of neuro-symbolic AI, proprietary financial models, AI-verifiers, and Visual Retriever capabilities”. Vahe Andonians, Founder and CEO of Cognaize, commented: “This award is a testament to the dedication of our team and our mission to push the boundaries of AI to create meaningful solutions that improve lives and industries.”

ancora Software reports continued growth in Q1 2025

Intelligent Document Processing vendor ancora Software has announced that it acquired 104 new customers in the first quarter of 2025 (including 37 international customers), representing a remarkable 40% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2024. Nick Bova, VP of Sales and Marketing at ancora Software, commented: “We believe that our continued growth and success are a direct result of our commitment to providing clients with the most advanced and effective document processing technologies available. We look forward to expanding our customer base further and continuing to drive innovation in the intelligent automation space.”

DocAcquire and BriskBold AI & Automation join forces to deliver tailored automation solutions across multiple sectors

Intelligent Document Processing vendor DocAcquire has announced a strategic partnership with AI and automation consulting firm BriskBold AI & Automation. Through this partnership, BriskBold will integrate DocAcquire’s IDP capabilities into its broader hyper-automation offering to deliver robust end-to-end solutions. Ashik Wani, Founder and CEO of DocAcquire, commented: “We are excited to announce our strategic partnership with BriskBold, a Dubai-based AI & Automation Consulting Firm. This collaboration brings together DocAcquire’s advanced document automation capabilities with BriskBold’s deep expertise in AI-driven solutions. Together, we aim to empower businesses with intelligent data extraction and seamless workflow automation, driving greater efficiency and innovation across industries.”

Hyarchis appoints Michel Jongboer as its new CEO

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Hyarchis has announced the appointment of Michel Jongboer as its new Chief Executive Officer, while Auke Dirkmaat, previously CEO at Hyarchis, joins Blinqx (of which Hyarchis is a part) as Managing Director. Michel Jongboer commented on his new role: “I am very enthusiastic about joining Hyarchis. The first acquaintance with the team in the Netherlands is that I see a committed and expert team here. Next month I will be going to the Hyarchis office in Kaunas (Lithuania) where I am very much looking forward to meeting the development team. I will continue the course I have chosen, as set by Auke and the Hyarchis team. My background in the accountancy, insurance and mortgage sector comes in very handy. The unique AI applications that Hyarchis uses in its software, such as Blurrify or the technology to make PDFs readable and searchable, are perfectly in line with market demand.”
