Cortical.io named a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for Advanced Contract Analytics

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Cortical.io has announced that it has been named a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for Advanced Contract Analytics. Gartner describes this segment as follows: “Advanced contract analytics, powered by AI, enhance efficiency, consistency and compliance of contracting processes pre- and postsignature.” The recognition for Cortical.io is a result of its IDP solution SemanticPro, which Cortical.io says is “is often referred to by users as the Contract Reader” because it accurately interprets and analyzes complex contractual provisions, regardless of terminology or formatting.

Planet AI develops the joint project “SPOC-AI” together with ALTOW Digital Innovation and the University of Rostock

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Planet AI has announced that, together with tech company ALTOW Digital Innovation and in cooperation with the University of Rostock, it is developing “SPOC-AI” (Single Point of Contact), a solution that will serve as a central hub for document-based processes and is built on Planet AI’s document processing platform IDA. “SPOC-AI” is being funded by the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as part of the Regional Innovation Strategy with a budget of over €11 million through the end of July 2027. According to Planet AI, the project partners are developing AI agents that are able to efficiently access large amounts of data and autonomously complete complex tasks (with a human-in-the-loop approach). In addition, LLMs for “SPOC-AI” are being developed that are tailored to the needs of different areas and industries. Jesper Kleinjohann, CEO of Planet AI, commented: “A key highlight of our system is that it can be entirely operated on the client’s premises, making it independent of external cloud services.” Dr. Tobias Strauß from the University of Rostock added: “From a research perspective, we are particularly interested in Explainable AI, understanding how algorithms arrive at specific outcomes.”

Cogniquest achieves HIPAA compliance

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Cogniquest has announced that it has achieved HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act is a series of regulatory standards that outline the lawful use and disclosure of protected health information) compliance, which qualifies the IDP vendor to work with healthcare providers, payers, and healthtech firms in the US. Satish Grampurohit, Co-Founder and CEO of Cogniquest, commented: “Proud moment for all of us at Cogniquest AI. It strengthens are position to partner with US healthcare clients and we are super excited.”

New research from Deep Analysis (Vendor Vignettes)

Analyst firm Deep Analysis has announced new research in the form of their ‘Vendor Analysis’, short reports focusing on technology product innovation. New research includes IDP providers SER, Cambrion and Inffrd. To access the full reports, click here.

Lydonia appoints new CRO

Digital transformation firm Lydonia has announced the appointment of Jason Webber as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). He brings more than three decades of experience in enterprise technology, including a track record of building high-performing teams and scaling complex organizations. In this role, Jason Webber will lead Lydonia’s go-to-market strategy and revenue operations, helping the company expand its presence in automation, AI, data and security.
