What we cover in this week’s (more like last week’s, since it’s Monday already) recap:
🗞️News:
Helm & Nagel GmbH launches document data extraction platform “Quick-Extract”
AI solutions provider Helm & Nagel GmbH (the company behind the IDP platform Konfuzio) has announced the launch of “Quick-Extract”, its new document data extraction platform where an integrated LLM agent automatically takes over the development of document parsers and eliminates time-consuming manual configuration. Quick-Extract’s agent-based architecture independently analyzes uploaded documents, generating extraction solutions with over 99.5% text recognition accuracy in 50+ languages and an F-score of 92% for data extraction, without training. Christopher Helm, Managing Director of Helm & Nagel GmbH, explained: “Not every use case requires the full complexity of an enterprise IDP solution. That’s why we developed Quick-Extract: an LLM agent handles the entire project within minutes – from document analysis to a production-ready API.” Comparing Konfuzio and Quick-Extract, he added: “Both solutions address different requirements. Konfuzio is suited for companies with maximum functionality demands, while Quick-Extract is for teams that want to achieve productive results within minutes.”
