Indico Data announces a strategic investment from Aviva Ventures
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Indico Data has announced a strategic investment from Aviva Ventures, the corporate venture capital fund for Aviva plc, one of the UK’s largest insurers. This move reinforces Indico’s growing influence in the London Market and its expanding client base among global property and casualty insurers. As part of the agreement, Aviva’s Chief Innovation Officer, Arslan Hannani, will join Indico Data’s Board of Directors as a Board Observer and Advisor. Tom Wilde, CEO of Indico Data, commented: “This partnership underscores the increasing demand for intelligent automation that transforms how insurers handle the critical ‘front door’ of their business, from submission ingestion to claims intake to policy servicing and beyond. Aviva’s investment and Arslan’s participation on our board validate Indico’s vision for the agentic insurance enterprise and our mission to help carriers turn unstructured data into competitive advantage.” Arslan Hannani added: “Indico’s technology is reshaping how insurers operate by bringing AI deeper into core workflows. We’ve seen firsthand the impact Indico is having in streamlining operations and unlocking new efficiencies, particularly in complex markets like London and beyond. We’re excited to support its continued growth.”
AIDA announces that AIDA Match is now entering public beta
Intelligent Document Processing vendor AIDA has announced the public beta release of AIDA Match, its intelligent document reconciliation solution that advances document automation and control by comparing actual document values for seamless business flow insights. Traditionally, AIDA Relations enabled linking documents via shared properties like customer names, IDs, or project codes. AIDA Match goes a step further by reconciling documents based on quantities, amounts, dates, and other specific values to highlight discrepancies such as pending deliveries or over-fulfillment. For instance, if a delivery note shows 10 chairs received but the associated purchase order requests 15, AIDA Match automatically identifies the shortfall of 5 chairs. This capability applies across delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders, and eliminates manual cross-checking efforts.
