🗞️News:
A number of IDP providers honored at the Document Manager Awards 2025
Last week, the Document Manager Awards 2025 took place in London, where a number of Intelligent Document Processing vendors were honored in various categories. Here are some of the winners and comments on the awards: ibml won “Product of the Year” for its AutoIndexAI module. Susheel John, Global CMO at ibml, commented: “Kudos to ibml teams for bringing home the DM Award for AutoIndexAI! the first of many AI innovations to come from ibml to enable mission critical IDP applications.” AIDA has been named “One to Watch: Product of the Year”. AIDA commented: “We were genuinely surprised – and proud – to win in one of the most competitive categories of the night, up against some 30 incredible products from some of the biggest names in the industry.” ABBYY won the “Editor’s Choice” award for ABBYY Timeline. ABBYY wrote: “With the growing use of GenAI, ABBYY’s Process AI gives the clarity needed to ensure organizations get the most out of their AI investments within enterprise processes.” Klippa won “AI Product of the Year” for its IDP platform DocHorizon. Jeroen Kant, Chief Commercial Officer at Klippa, commented: “It’s one of those moments where all the hard work comes together, and you realise how many people within Klippa play a part in getting there.”
New research from Deep Analysis (Vendor Vignettes)
Analyst firm Deep Analysis has published new research in the form of their Vendor Vignettes, short reports focusing on technology product innovation. Alongside Neutrinos and Salesforce, the new research also covers IDP providers Altilia and Automation Anywhere. Regarding Altilia, Deep Analysis highlighted: “Atilia has an impressive AI R&D team that has created a technically rigorous solution for AI-powered document processing and knowledge automation. The modular architecture, agentic orchestration, and object-level extraction capabilities differentiate it from IDP platforms that focus solely on classification or data parsing.” With regard to Automation Anywhere, Deep Analysis highlighted: “Amid the smog of hype surrounding AI, a focus on repeatable, measurable, and valuable business automation is critical to both the company’s and its clients’ success. In short, Automation Anywhere’s approach is pragmatic and well-grounded. It grasps the complexity and challenges of truly building and deploying agents at scale, and it’s one of the few in the market that does. From an IDP standpoint, the firm has experienced a significant increase in business over the past year or two and is now regularly competing against pure-play IDP vendors in large deals.” To access the full reports, click here.
AIDA joins forces with Burologic
Intelligent Document Processing vendor AIDA has announced a strategic partnership with document solutions and workflow optimization provider Burologic to transform intelligent automation for French businesses. According to AIDA, this partnership builds on its long-standing collaboration with Xerox. Thanks to this partnership, the companies are leveraging the combined power of Xerox’s scanning hardware (order documents are captured via the scanner module) and AIDA’s IDP platform (documents are automatically classified into the appropriate document type) to help French companies transform their document processes into fully automated workflows. Alex Earl, Commercial Director at AIDA, commented: “This collaboration with Burologic, a Xerox dealer, shows how our hybrid and agentic AI solution can eliminate the manual burden of order processing. We look forward to expanding this model in France and beyond.”
