SER forms a strategic partnership with BARQ Systems to extend its footprint in the MEA region Enterprise content management (ECM) provider SER has announced a strategic partnership with BARQ Systems, a renowned IT services provider based in Saudi Arabia, to expand the company’s footprint in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This partnership, combining BARQ Systems’ extensive experience in delivering world-class digital transformation solutions for customers with SER’s AI-powered ECM platform Doxis, which includes Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, will enable the two companies to deliver solutions that meet the unique needs of organizations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Dr. John Bates, CEO of SER, commented: “SER has successfully proven to our many satisfied customers in the MEA market that switching to a next-generation ECM platform pays off significantly. ABBYY and Novelis expand partnership to support intelligent automation efforts in the US Intelligent process automation solutions provider ABBYY has announced that it has expanded its partnership with IT solutions and services provider Novelis. Novelis leveraged ABBYY’s portfolio of intelligent automation solutions to enhance document efficiency and strategic process visibility for several of its European customers. With this extended partnership, ABBYY and Novelis are now looking to bring the success Novelis has achieved in supporting its customers’ intelligent automation initiatives in Europe to the United States. Catherine Stewart, President and General Manager for the Americas at Novelis, explained: “Working with ABBYY has significantly broadened the effectiveness of our customers’ automation initiatives. Their purpose-driven approach to AI and IDP lay the foundation for our automation strategies to excel in their specified areas, while process intelligence ensures our efforts are focused on the right areas in the first place. (formerly Cloudif.ai) has announced the launch of DocuSense.ai, its new Intelligent Document Processing platform. Francesco De Simone, CTO at efficiento., commented: “Excited to announce the launch of DocuSense.ai! Revolutionizing document management with cutting-edge AI technology. Ocrolus and Envestnet | Yodlee form a strategic partnership to enhance financial statement upload capabilities IDP vendor Ocrolus has announced a strategic partnership with data aggregation and analytics platform Envestnet | Yodlee. Through this strategic partnership, Ocrolus will embed its advanced document automation capabilities into the Envestnet | Yodlee data aggregation and analytics platform. This will enable Envestnet | Yodlee’s customers to collect financial data from uploaded documents such as bank and income statements to supplement data from digital sources. Arun Anur, Chief Operating Officer of Envestnet | Yodlee, explained: “Our partnership with Ocrolus enables us to broaden our capabilities and deliver on our commitment to help bank and tech customers achieve financial wellness, through accessing the tools they need from financial institutions, enterprise technology companies, wealth management financial advisor relationships, and credit lending providers. With added document automation capabilities, Envestnet | Yodlee will improve and streamline the onboarding process for credit and lending use cases.”

Docketry is now listed on the UiPath Marketplace Nuvento, a digital technology services company, has announced that Docketry, its Intelligent Document Processing solution, is now listed on the UiPath Marketplace. By leveraging Docketry alongside UiPath’s solutions, Nuvento can now develop and deploy advanced automation solutions faster to its clients, as well as offer its AI and automation expertise to a wider audience.

Technology & Cognition LAB introduces “Duplicates” feature (via newsletter) IDP vendor Technology & Cognition LAB has introduced the latest feature for its IDP solution AIDA. The “Duplicates” feature aims to eliminate the chaos of duplicate documents. To this end, when a document is uploaded into the system, the feature compares the new data with the existing data and allows the user to specify the conditions that define a duplicate. In this way, duplicate documents can be recognized and removed immediately with just a few rules to ensure that the data on which decisions are based is correct.

UiPath with new investments in Saudi Arabia, including its first Saudi School of Automation Enterprise automation and AI software company UiPath has announced new investments in Saudi Arabia to support digital transformation and workforce upskilling through advanced AI and automation technologies. These investments include supporting government organizations and consumer companies with digital transformation, as well as launching its first Saudi School of Automation to accelerate future workforce development with best-in-class training on AI and automation. Furthermore, UiPath opens its first office in Riyadh, where the IDP provider commits that 90% of hires will be Saudi Arabian nationals.

HFS Research appoints Francis Carden as Chief Technology Evangelist Analyst firm HFS Research has announced the appointment of Francis Carden as Chief Technology Evangelist. The software automation expert and business leader has more than four decades of leadership experience and will drive innovative solutions and thought leadership at the analyst firm.
