AntWorks named a leader in ISG’s 2022 Provider Lens for IDP

The IDP provider has been ranked by ISG (Information Services Group) as a leader in its Provider Lens for Intelligent Document Processing. The technology research and advisory firm cited three key strengths of AntWorks: developing a global solution and document types, developing advanced document reading capabilities, and enhancing the role of the human in the loop.

AntWorks, an Intelligent Document Processing vendor, announced December 5 that it has been recognized as a leader by technology research and advisory firm ISG in its Provider Lens for Intelligent Document Processing 2022 for the second year in a row. AntWorks strengthens its leadership position as its “document processing has augmented its cognitive capabilities to industry-leading levels.”

CMR+ (Cognitive Machine Reading Plus), AntWorks’ Intelligent Document Processing solution, is built to handle complex and unstructured documents. In its research series Provider Lens, ISG combines empirical, data-driven research and market analysis with experience and observations. ISG mentioned three main strengths of AntWorks that once again put the company in the top bracket in terms of competitive strength and portfolio attractiveness:

1- developing a global solution and document types: The cloud-based, global capacity of the CMR+ system enables high performance for large global enterprises.

2- developing advanced document reading capabilities: Advanced CMR+ capabilities open up the potential for growth opportunities.

3- enhancing the role of the human in the loop.

Mike Hobday, CEO of AntWorks, commented: “The development of the platform has taken major steps forward in the last year. We’re now working with partners who are driving further innovation while CMR+’s latest releases open the way for IDP as a PaaS and a SaaS option. We expect CMR+ adoption to grow significantly in the coming years.”

Lead author of the report and ISG research partner, Ashwin Gaidhani, explained the nomination: “AntWorks has achieved a notable feat in the Intelligent Document Processing space. The CMR+ system efficiently extracts data using deep learning, NLP, and machine vision to classify, analyse, and validate data, enabling enterprises to gather reliable data despite document structure and format heterogeneity.”

Singapore-headquartered AntWorks offers an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution with its CMR+ system. CMR+ uses proprietary AI including Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Vision, and Machine Learning (ML) and also includes sentiment analysis, named-entity correlation and post-processing.
