Nanonets’ open-source model Nanonets-OCR2 trending in the Top 10 on Hugging Face

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Nanonets has announced that its open-source model Nanonets-OCR2 is trending in the Top 10 on Hugging Face. Nanonets-OCR2 is a suite of models designed for advanced image-to-markdown conversion and Visual Question Answering. Nanonets wrote: “It’s another step in our mission to make the world more LLM-friendly and to free all the stuck data still trapped in PDFs, scans, and unstructured documents. For years, we’ve been obsessed with one question: How do we make machines truly understand documents like humans do? That’s why we’re committed to: Releasing best-in-class open-source models that raise the bar for document intelligence. Powering enterprise-grade document processing and agentic workflows that help companies unlock and use their data in ways that were impossible before.” You can access the model here.

TCG Process integrates LandingAI’s Agentic Document Extraction

Intelligent Document Processing provider TCG Process has announced a partnership with LandingAI, a provider of advanced agentic vision technologies. Thanks to this partnership, TCG Process will be included in LandingAI’s Builder Program and will integrate LandingAI’s Agentic Document Extraction into its no-code process automation platform OCTO. Neil Walker, Head of Product at TCG Process, commented: “We’re honored to be among the first partners in LandingAI’s new Builder Program and to introduce LandingAI’s ADE in OCTO. This collaboration gives our customers even more flexibility to harness AI in a secure, controlled environment.”

Klippa joins forces with CanData.ai to deliver AI-driven automation solutions (via direct source)

Intelligent Document Processing vendor Klippa has announced a strategic partnership with AI and data automation company CanData.ai. Through this partnership, Klippa will integrate its document automation and AI capabilities into CanData.ai’s platforms, accelerating solution deployment, enhancing decision-making, and boosting ROI for clients across industries. Cheryl Barker, Head of Partnerships at Klippa, commented: “Partnering with CanData.ai feels like plugging into a kindred engine of innovation. Their work in building intelligent AI agents and unifying scattered data aligns seamlessly with our mission to streamline and speed up automation. Together, we’re not just enhancing workflows, we’re helping reshape how modern businesses operate.”

 Datamatics joins forces with Well Pharmacy to automate medication record management

Intelligent Document Processing provider Datamatics has announced a partnership with Well Pharmacy, the UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain, to modernize and digitize medication record management. This partnership leverages Datamatics’ Intelligent Automation platform, integrating its IDP platform TruCap+ and TruBot Robotic Process Automation (RPA) products to streamline the Medication Administration Record (MAR) process. Through this partnership, Datamatics will automate the full MAR workflow — from document ingestion and data extraction to record creation and compliance management. TruCap+, powered by AI and GenAI, will accurately capture dosage and patient data from unstructured documents such as handwritten or scanned records, while TruBot will manage repetitive administrative tasks, ensuring speed, accuracy, and full compliance with healthcare standards. Mitul Mehta, Chief Marketing Officer at Datamatics, commented: “We are excited to partner with Well Pharmacy in their automation journey. With our experience in the Healthcare industry, we are confident to deliver the desired benefits of automation including accuracy, efficiency and process compliance.”
