Nividous introduces enhancements to its IDP capabilities

The new Intelligent Document Processing capabilities enable out-of-the-box data extraction from any document type, as well as from structured, semi-structured and unstructured formats, reducing the time required to create automation workflows.

Nividous, an intelligent automation company, announced October 12 that it has introduced enhanced Intelligent Document Processing capabilities within its integrated intelligent automation platform. The improvements are enabled by natural language processing and computer vision, which are natively available in the platform.

According to the company, thanks to these enhancements, a general form processor can handle any format and document type with accuracy. Instead of creating templates, users simply select the fields that need to be extracted based on the selected prebuilt model type, and then can add as many additional fields as needed. Similarly, tabular data fields can be extracted without having to define each column.

Shvetal Desai, Co-founder of Nividous, said: “The advancements in our platform’s IDP capabilities have helped several of our customers, from automobile to consumer goods companies, cut down the upfront time spent on building automation workflows by 10x. Moreover, end users can train these models for further customization on top of what is available out-of-the-box.”

Mumbai-based Nividous is building a comprehensive business automation platform that harnesses the power of RPA, AI, and BPM, and includes its Intelligent Document Processing solution.
