KnowledgeLake announces $65M growth investment and new CEO

The Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor and growth equity firm Edison Partners announce a majority growth investment. KnowledgeLake also names Kevin Herr as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding long-time CEO Ron Cameron.

KnowledgeLake, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, announced on August 20, 2025, together with growth equity firm Edison Partners, a majority growth investment of $65 million. In addition, KnowledgeLake announced that Kevin Herr, long-time COO and CFO, has been named CEO, succeeding Ron Cameron, who will continue to serve the company in an advisory role.

According to the IDP vendor, the new capital will be invested in customer success, partnership expansion, go-to-market strategies, and market-leading AI capabilities.
